Creating some follow-ups helps to further pique the recipient's interest, especially if the recipient missed the initial email.

Create a follow-up:

  1. Navigate to "Workflow" in your segment.
  2. At your initial email, you'll find a plus sign. Click it and select "New follow-up email."

Remember:

If you haven't set in the settings that the workflow should not be sent in the same thread, all your emails will automatically be sent in the same thread. You may notice that it doesn't look like a thread in your "sent" tab with some older email clients, but as a rule, it always does, unless a technical error has occurred.

Don't want to send in the same thread? Here's our guide to removing the email thread.

Tips:

  • Include a clear call to action in your follow-up email to encourage the recipient to take action.
  • Decide when and how the follow-up emails should be sent. Consider scheduling them after a reasonable period from the first email.
  • Keep track of the responses from your follow-up emails and adjust the strategy based on what works best.
