The segment you create is always set to lock contacts for 365 days after the contact person and company have been contacted. This is to prevent the segment from reaching out to the same company and contact person multiple times within this period. However, you can adjust this setting.

Steps to unlock old contacts in LeadPilot:

  1. Go to "Settings" in your segment.
  2. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab.
  3. Choose how many days should pass before a contact can be contacted again.
  4. This allows you to decrease or increase the period.
  5. If you want to recontact companies that have previously responded, check the "Unlock companies that have responded" option. If you do not wish to do this, leave the option unchecked.

Tips:

  • Carefully consider how often you want to contact the same contacts to avoid coming across as intrusive.
  • Adjust the settings based on the type of campaign and the responses you’ve received in the past.
  • Monitor the response after adjusting these settings to see if it improves your results.
