Reasons for uploaded leads failing

  1. No public source:
    If the company you're trying to reach does not have a public source online, such as a website, it can lead to the outreach failing. LeadPilot needs publicly available information to be able to identify and contact leads.
  2. Unspecified or incorrect job titles:
    If the job titles in your target group do not match those found on public sources within the companies, it can lead to failed attempts. It's important that the information about job titles is accurate and relevant to the company.

How to filter and address failed leads:

  1. Go to the "Leads" tab and use the filtering option to display "Failed". This helps you identify which leads have not succeeded and why.
  2. If you discover that many leads fail due to specific job titles, consider broadening your target group with more titles. This increases the chance that the segment finds relevant decision-makers.


  • Before uploading a list, ensure all information is correct and up-to-date.
  • Including a broader target group with, for example, more contact persons can contribute to more successful lead generation.
  • Analyze failed leads to understand patterns and adjust your strategy accordingly.
