It can be frustrating when you can't find an expected reply in your email inbox, even though our platform indicates that a lead has responded. Here are some reasons why this might happen, and how you can solve the problem:

  1. Check archived emails: It's possible that the reply has been archived by mistake. Go through your archived emails to see if the reply is there.
  2. Examine your email settings: If you have special sorting rules for emails, the reply may have been automatically moved to another folder. Check these folders to see if the reply is there.
  3. Check deleted emails: It might happen that you accidentally deleted the email. Search in the deleted emails folder to see if the reply is there.
  4. Manual search in the inbox: Use the lead's contact information from the platform to manually search in your inbox. Remember to include the spam folder in your search.
  5. Check the 'Sent' folder: Emails sent from LeadPilot can be found in your "Sent" folder. Find the original email to the respective lead and click on it. The reply will often appear as part of the email thread.

If none of the above works:

  • Our platform is usually very reliable, but errors can occur.
  • If you still can't find the reply, you can contact the lead directly. Send a polite email explaining the situation and asking if they have sent you an email.
  • Example of an email you can send: "I apologize for the inconvenience, but I received a notification of an email from you that seems to have gone missing in my inbox. I want to ensure that I do not miss any important information you wish to share."
