A/B testing is available for users with Business and Premium subscriptions.

You can always create multiple variants of your sequence to A/B test which sequence and subject line work best. It can take up to about 3-4 weeks to see statistics on which variant has performed the best. The segment automatically sends out a 50/50 distribution of the variants, and thereafter, the segment selects the best-performing one and sends out more of variant X.

Steps to create and test variants of email with LeadPilot:

  1. Select a segment and navigate to the sequence.
  2. Click on the blue plus button to create a new variant of your email.
  3. You can easily edit or delete variants by using the "x" button in the dropdown menu for each variant.

If you have multiple emails in your sequence, and each email has different variants, it doesn't necessarily mean that a specific variant will always be followed by the corresponding variant in the next step. The segment optimizes each step in the sequence separately.

Tips:

  • Review the statistics after the testing period to gain insights into which variants perform best.
  • Use learnings from A/B testing to continuously improve your emails.
  • Try different types of content, tone, and structure in your variants to see what resonates best with your target audience.
