Excluding industries from LeadPilot is a smart strategy when you have a broad target audience but want to avoid targeting competitors or irrelevant industries. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to exclude specific industries and subcategories in your lead generation using LeadPilot.


Exclude industries in LeadPilot

  1. Go to the segment’s target audience: Open LeadPilot and navigate to the segment where you want to exclude industries.
  2. Click on industries: Under audience settings, find the section for industries.
  3. Scroll down to excluded industries: Scroll down until you see the option for excluded industries.
  4. Add the industries you want to exclude: Search for and select the industries you want to exclude from your lead generation. These will now be filtered out.

Exclude Subcategories within an Industry
If you want to target a specific industry but avoid certain subcategories, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the field for specific SNI codes: Under audience settings, find the field for specific SNI codes.
  2. Select subcategories: Choose the specific subcategories you want to target.
  3. Leave the irrelevant subcategories unselected: The subcategories you do not choose will be automatically excluded.
  4. Confirm your choices: Ensure that only the subcategories you have selected are included in your target audience. Other subcategories will be excluded.
