When creating your segment, you can choose to either review leads or let everything happen automatically. It’s a matter of preference, but if you need to double-check all contacts before reaching out to them via LeadPilot for any reason, we recommend selecting the review feature.
What does reviewing leads mean?
If you choose the review feature, nothing happens automatically until you manually schedule the lead in the review window. Each night, we search for leads, and the following day, you can review which leads to add to your email schedule, save for later, or block. Please note that blocking a lead means the company cannot be contacted by you or any of your colleagues in the future. Therefore, it’s usually better to save a lead if it’s not relevant to your current segment.
Do I have to review leads?
Not at all. If you want LeadPilot to operate automatically, you can select the automatic function. In this mode, all leads matching your target audience are automatically added to the email schedule. You can still cancel contacts before emails are sent, but this requires you to check the platform regularly.
For users without a CRM system or blocklist
If you don’t have integration with a CRM system or a comprehensive blocklist in the platform, we recommend reviewing leads. This adds an extra layer of security, ensuring that no leads already in your customer base or existing conversations are contacted.
Which option should you choose?
If you are new to LeadPilot or need to be careful about who you contact, we recommend always using the review feature for your segments. However, if you aim to build your contact list and are open to reaching out to all companies, the automatic feature might be more advantageous.
